My mum used to call me wild thing, it was my pet name from her – I was always the little girl in the prettiest dresses, frolicking around in the mud with messy hair (but at least it had a bow in it!). As much as I feel more grown up then that time in my life, it still seems the same. I can not wear white – ever – for I always seem to spill something on myself, and I always need to bring a hairbrush or comb with me … my hair gets tangled and matted by the end of the day.

I wouldn’t necessarily say I am the biggest trend person, true – I sport trends, but I usually sport them with a vintage twist – sequins, mint, leather, cashmere, satchels – these are all things I have worn on this here blog that were either my Grans, thrifted or vintage finds … but these here floral pants, well – they were love at first {trend} sight.

I wore this outfit to the tents last Thursday for MasterCard Fashion Week here in Toronto. I had a ton of fun blogging for MasterCard’s Stylicity program, where I got to shop til I dropped with Queen West merchants – some of my favorite hidden gems in Toronto.

Head on over to the Stylicity blog to covet {and buy!!} some of the items I scoured!
